ECCE HOMO

Antwerp, 2008.
The images are supposed to summon up recognition within the viewer. Not the original work, nor the changes are primarily important. The characters are the main centre of attention.

Every image is recognizable, but placed out of context. Ecce Homo is not in any way an exercise in recognition. The public has to make up its own stories.

Joint project with Dave Schweitzer

Ecce Homo was shown at Galeria PauzaKrakow, Poland during the Tolerancja festival April 2008.

Saint-Sebastian travelled to the US and was on display at Art Miami, Miami Beach, USA in 2011 and part of the Saint-Sebastian 1530-2011 groupshow at Edelman Art Gallery New York, January 2012. The work has been printed in various magazines and was published in the Thames&Hudson compendiumArt and Religion in the 21st Century.

(Autoportrait as) Lucifer was on display at WM Gallery Antwerp in 2013 and sold in private collection.
